During the course of our meetings, he gave me a copy of a book that he used to give to all of his managers: Zoom, by Istvan Banyai. The book has been around for a while -- it was originally published in 1998 -- but its message about the power of perspective is timeless. There are no words in the book, just a series of pictures with constantly receding frames of reference.
